In December 2009 ECPI was mentioned in an article published by the economic supplement of the Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera".

The article focused on growth opportunities for companies that adopt environmental policies. As explained by Aldo Bonati, Head of the Research Department of ECPI: "Nowadays, environmental policies are no longer considered by companies as a cost but as an integral part of their strategy of development and communication." Companies that are already proving capable of pursuing sustainable development will be amply rewarded by markets, according to financial analysts.
