ECPI Speaks at the 10th Doha Forum Roundtable

Guerino Guarnieri, Special Projects Director of ECPI, spoke at the 10th Annual Doha Forum in Qatar on sustainable investing.

The 3-day Doha Forum is an annual meeting place for leaders in business, science, politics and academia and other well-respected speakers and dignitaries from across the world.

The Forum discusses issues relevant to the stability and sustainability of Middle Eastern and global economies. Topics discussed range from development, peace and global stability, investment following the financial crisis, energy security, human development challenges, climate change, economic competitiveness and trade to other business topics.

Mr. Guarnieri spoke on a panel discussing ‘Trade and Business: Reform, Organisation and Regulation'. Other keynote speakers on the panel included:

  • Dr. Gordon Bajnai - Hungarian Prime Minister
  • Dr. Lincoln Davis - United States Congressman for Tennessee's 4th Congressional District
  • Dr John Sfakianakis - Chief Economist for Banque Saudi Franse
  • Dr Mashour Mourad - Managing Director of ICG
  • Rt. Hon. Rhodri Morgan - ex-First Minister of Wales

The panel was moderated by Sheikha Hanadi Bint Nasser Al-Thani, CEO of AMWAL, an investment manager and merchant bank in Qatar.
